Hitching Post - Bradford

What a wonderful place! I visited for the first time and was greeted with such friendliness. The atmosphere was delightful, and most importantly, the food was amazing. I can’t wait to return!

I attended a business meeting at this restaurant, which included lunch. After placing our orders, we were informed that our meals were from the Light Lunch menu due to budget constraints. While I understand this decision, I was deeply disappointed with what arrived. My Hunters chicken was barely half of a chicken breast, topped with just a single slice of crispy bacon and the slightest drizzle of BBQ sauce. It was accompanied by a few hot chips, which I’ll give credit for, but what they called a salad garnish consisted of limp, warm green leaves that I couldn’t even identify as lettuce or watercress, clearly microwaved along with the chicken. If this is their typical lunchtime fare, I certainly won’t be returning. On the bright side, at least I didn't have to pay for it.

The service started off a bit slow, but it was definitely worth the wait. The vegan burger I had was absolutely delicious, especially paired with the curly fries. We also ordered a massive plate to share, and everything was excellent. I would give it a solid 5 stars all around!

The experience was wonderful, as always! We ordered four adult carveries and two for the kids, along with a replacement plate for a smaller portion. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Plus, the prices were a fantastic bargain. The gentleman at the carvery was very pleasant and there was plenty of food to go around. Despite being very busy, he was still extremely courteous. Overall, a fantastic visit!

I hosted a baby shower at The Hitching Post and ordered from their buffet menu. The food was outstanding, and the staff was very courteous and friendly. I will definitely consider this venue for future events.
