What User doesn't like about The Boathouse Inn:
Lunchtime visit to the Boathouse in lovely Saltaire. Great location for a pint but the food was disappointing. Service was slow. Chicken and bacon club sandwich was stingy, overcooked and served with fries cooked in old fat on a tin tray when it eventually arrived. ...Not worth £10, might have been better visiting McDonalds or HMP Leeds. We had sunday roasts here. the staff was friendly and friendly and the service was very good. we enjoyed our food, it was well presented and delicious. beautiful view over the roberts park and the river while we ate.
This pub has an excellent location and view over a park between the river and the canal. We visited on Sunday midday. we were glad that there was much more on the menu than just a traditional Sunday dinner. we chose to share that was excellent. on Sunday, we visited, the bar area of the pub seemed to be occupied exclusively by people with big dogs. it is necessary to go through this area to reach the es pane. that could be a problem for some people. the personal is pleasant, we had a pleasant lunchtime.
We had a nice Saturday dinner at the boathouse. we ordered cheese, potato and twill cake and bark meat. mushroom and ale-pie. we both agreed that these were the best cakes we had in the age. the boathouse has a fantastic location at the. away of the river aire, friendly service and a beautiful ambiente. it was great to go back to the canal after our visit. we will definitely be back.
Whilst visiting the area ,stumbled across this pub had to wait for a table so had a seat looking across the river . I had the roast beef with lovely yorkshire pud, gravy nice and thick tasty veg ,and the best potatoes i've had in a...while . My partner had the roast pork and she equally enjoyed it. Priced at £12 well worth it.
