Came here in December 2015 with some family who live in Pasco County. It was the first time for all of us. And I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the decor, the view, and the food. I got gator bites as an appetizer. I forgot what I got as a main course. Interesting place.
My brother suggested this restaurant and it was an excellent choice! I ordered the appetizer platter, which included baked green tomatoes, frog legs, and peat bites, all of which were fantastic. Honestly, they were some of the best I've ever had. The gumbo was also delicious, offering a taste of Old Florida. The ambiance was unique and enjoyable, with stuffed animals decoratively placed throughout the space. I loved the view of the tranquil water, which had an almost swamp-like charm. Although it's a bit off the beaten path, it's definitely worth the trip. It was peaceful and not crowded on Thursday afternoon.

The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was exceptional—especially the roasted calamari. With beautiful views of the Braden River, dining here is a real treat.
