A year ago, I felt warmly welcomed, but lately, the barten... read more I used to really love Cork's Cigar—it was the very first bar I visited and enjoyed when I moved here. A year ago, I felt warmly welcomed, but lately, the bartenders have been quite the opposite. Recently, I came in with my close friend, Adam Cross, and my service animal, Poppy, only to be met with hostility from the bartender Kevin. Even after I showed him the official tags verifying Poppy as a service animal, he questioned and lectured me, saying, "You better not let anyone pet your dog or she’s not a real service animal." I was completely taken aback. I've faced plenty of questions before, but no other bar has been as offensive and harassing as this. It’s really disappointing because I used to love this place and often brought my friends here to share it with them.

If you 're looking to have a cigar and a good drink, this is a great place on the downtown strip in Bradenton! *small suggestion to the ownership, your shirts would be 1000% cooler if they said Bradenton, FL or Downtown Bradenton, FL on them, I got one anyway, but it 's always nice to rep the city!
