my family visited this pub and the personal is simply amazing. we wanted to meet for tee and they allowed us to nibble and bring cake and bring them out for us. this kind of generousness and not expected something back had won us over. the personal was very friendly to us and our foreign visitors friends loved so hospitable that they already wrote to their friends about it. we will return definitiw, but eat there and... Everyone knows that I have been drinking here for decades, but I've been visiting less and less due to work. I pop back and the food was wonderful....try the burgers...the service impeccable...and the overall experience wonderful. I do wonder why people complain when they're too young and therefore declined, food is delayed with a full restaurant, and people who are simply rude expect the landlord or staff to tolerate it. Definitely worth a visit to make your own mind up because it's the best it's been in 40 yrs. Ask for Jay or Becky, the landlord and landlady. Amazing couple with the most gorgeous daughter

This place is exceptionally beautiful, the interior designing is sooo good! I loved the back room and the toilets. We couldn't believe the excellent value for money and the quality of the meals. We took kids and for £5 they got a main course with sides, a drink and dessert. The kids roast was huge and my 5 year old loved it! The waiter had was very pleasant and patient with us. Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to treat the family. Band was pretty cool too
