My local Chinese is closed on a Monday so I ventured further out and found Amoy. Situated in the none too salubrious district of Great Hollands, this Chinese is situated opposite a chippy and next to a burger/pizza outlet. It was quiet inside and I was served promptly. I ordered a takeaway for £60.00 and it arrived late and cold. When I called to complain about the disgusting food and requested that it be recooked and hot, I was told to use my microwave to reheat it because they were busy. When ordering takeaway, I expect it to be delivered on time, warm, and properly cooked, not raw. View all feedback.
The food was delicious and the chef is top-notch. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal which included prawn chow mein, kung pao chicken, and fried rice. The delivery was also prompt. Thank you so much!

The takeout I ordered was cold, flavorless, and the soup was thin like water. When I called to complain, the woman on the phone said she was cold too, which was very rude and unprofessional. She didn't seem to care about my dissatisfaction, even though I had spent £50. I would not recommend wasting your money here.
Visiting family and we had decided on a takeaway, what a good choice we came here, great choice, friendly helpful service, freshly cooked delicious food, I had a big order and all was cooked in a timely manner, fresh, tasty and very yummy, highly recommended. thank you
