Tavern meals seem to fall into a category that are just a pass or not and the meals we had at the Warner Tavern fall into just passing. I am more concerned why these meals cost so much and even more concerned at the cost of the wine, after all we are at a hotel. Nevertheless the ambiance is as expected - uninviting with the service too average. Our meals were hit and miss with my wife enjoying her Thai Beef Salad. Unfortunately my lamb was overcooked and as a result was as tough as floorboards.

Service is friendly and efficient. Food is of good quality at moderate prices. This is a typical Aussie pub experience with a popular venue atmosphere that worked well for a catch up with friends. Meals are prepared in a timely fashion and to a good standard. the seats are bit uncomfortable for a long meetup but you can stand and move around a bit if you need to.

We had never been to Warner Tavern before , the location is ok, we found the interior was cozy and the staff to be cheery and helpful , however the buffet was a major letdown !! the desserts were suited more for a childs afternoon party !! Poor value , would not hurry back !!

Staff were very polite and the foid was awesome. I had the Chicken, Bacon and Corn filo with cream corn sauce chips and fresh garden salad. Hubby had the beef pie with the vegies and both of us walked out very happy. Will definitely come again.
