At this time of the year the weather was great. The breakfast menu varied. Ordered at the counter with food arriving in a short time. The concept of pickled radish and onion was well intended but their flavour did not complement the avocado spread (too bland for my taste but my partner thought it was fine). This place is a lovely, peaceful venue. Kids play area. No table service anymore. All orders placed at the counter. Very slow. Food way overpriced for a cafe and it's no better than other cafes around which are cheaper View all feedback.
I recently revisited this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the improvements made since my last visit. The menu is now more diverse with delicious food and top-notch presentation. The breakfast dishes are fresh and offer a unique twist on traditional options. It's a wonderful experience to sit by the rail, overlooking the pond, and take a leisurely stroll through the nursery after your meal.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times and the presentation of the food is always fantastic. The views and atmosphere are excellent. The staff is wonderful - we really enjoy it here.
A pleasant lunch. I visited on a wet, cold Saturday with my husband mother-in-law. Service was quick to order, however it must of been the waitress first day as she did struggle with the order. It was great that she read it back to us so we picked up on the things that she missed. The meals came out in good time were lovely except the hot chips were quite cold (seems to be a common theme in other reviews? . One big thing that was missing is outdoor heaters, it would be worth their while to invest in these at it was so cold outside in the elements. Maybe everyone around us had been there before as they all had scarves big jackets on but for the uninitiated it was very uncomfortable. We didn't have coffees at the end as we needed to get out of the cold.
The food was fantastic, but the service left much to be desired.
Reliable, consistent and fresh food. Nice setting. However one of the slowest services in Brisbane.
