Rogue Spice Canteen

This is hands down the best dish around, and you have my personal guarantee on that!

My lunch companion and I both ordered the satay with a side of roti, and the portions were exactly what you’d expect from the pictures. The chicken was precooked but had a delightful charred flavor that made it incredibly tasty. The prawn crackers were thicker than the typical ones you find, but I really enjoyed them. The dipping sauce was quite sweet, complemented by another sauce underneath the chicken, which I believe contributed to the overall flavor. A small cucumber salad on the side helped to cut through the creaminess of the sauce. I found myself wanting more sliced chili in the dish—it was really nice, and I plan to ask for extra next time. At first, I thought the roti seemed a bit small; the photos suggest two servings. I usually could finish that amount easily, and I initially thought the entire meal looked somewhat small. However, that turned out to be misleading, as my eyes were just too eager. I ended up with plenty of leftovers! For $13 for the curry, it was an incredible value. This place seems like it would be a great spot for dinner!

I absolutely adore this restaurant! It offers Thai cuisine with a modern twist. Every dish is expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. My top pick is the coconut beef ribs—they're sticky, sweet, and melt in your mouth, perfectly paired with a fresh salad, rice, or roti. The red duck curry is also exquisite, and the pork belly Penang is fantastic as well. I recommend ordering the share plates for excellent value. Their roti is consistently perfect, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, complete with a little bench overlooking the valley that's ideal for people-watching. The staff are incredibly friendly too. I've never had a disappointing meal here!

Delicious food, a semi-familiar venue (was a regular at Glass Bar 1.0) and the quality of the food v's the prices is amazing. <br/ <br/ We had the 12 hr pork belly Penang curry, the dish was perfect, pork was melt in your mouth amazing. The level of spicy was perfect for me. But if you're a bit adverse to hot food maybe ask for it a little less spicy!! <br/ <br/ We'll be back

I have been here for dinner before but their lunch menu is great! Personally I wish you could still order the lunch menu for dinner I'd be there all the time!
