Went for dinner with a mate last night. We were both impressed with the flavours of the lamb rogan josh and lamb korma respectively. Samosa starters were large and tasty too. Can 't agree with the previous comment about this being the 'most expensive Indian ' $18 20 mains is perfectly reasonable for a curry. Looking forward to going again. What Shubha Mukherjee doesn't like about Geebung Curry Corner:
We came here after reading the glowing reviews. Spent approx $120.00 for two people. Each curry had the same flavour profile of sweetness and tanginess rather than rich and varying masala flavours. The goat biriyani was just rice covered with curry served with tough meat. The goat curry also had tough meat. Chicken Madras was average but I had to add salt and chili to make it taste decent. I visited this restaurant during my 1-week trip with my friends to and have to say that this dinning experience was probably the best part of the trip! The food was very Excellent and quite affordable pricing I was also lucky enough to meet Exe chef Bhagwan singh there who ensured we had a memorable experience and that we were very well looked after. Special Thanks to Exe chef Bhagwan singh at GeeBung curry corner for a flawless Dinning experience...wish I could leave a rating higher than 5 stars. Worst restaurant in the town, had chickn korma tonight, they dont know actually meaning of korma, its was uncooked gravy, fish Amritsari looks only besan fry in the oil, Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–60
