Good coffee place near the Taringa train station, making Toby’s Estate coffee. There’s a choice of indoor or outdoor seating (with a view of the pedestrian bridge) and they use the Skip app too.

Great coffee. Fried chicken burger is a must. Beef burger and salad are very nice as well. Will definitely come back if I am back in this neighborhood again. The entrance of a car park is right underneath this cafe.

I’ve been a semi-regular customer of Clay since its early days. Whilst the service and the coffee have always been great (Tony, who runs the place, is always so friendly), I’d never had a meal there until this morning. I wish I’d known earlier what I’d been missing out on. I had the smashed avocado which was a refreshing twist on a classic with sweet potato and dukkah on dark rye. The balance of ingredients was just right and tasted delicious. The whole breakfast menu looked great and was well priced.

I’ve driven past this cafe for the past few months and I’m soo glad I finally had a chance to check it out! I ordered Eggs Your Way scrambled of course and added bacon on the side such a generous serving of bacon and boy oh boy were those eggs fluffy! The sourdough was perfectly soft and pre buttered which was a delight too I also ordered orange juice, which was quite exy... $7 for juice?? but apart from that, twas a great way to start the day!

Visited this café after perusal of Diana's review. Location is very good with easy parking area underneath the café. <br/ <br/ Walked in and was greeted by one of the Chinese team member there. Ordered a flat white and an Egg Benedict with Salmon. Coffee came with a nice Toby Estate cup. Aroma is good that builds the confidence for the enjoyment. I am very satisfied with my flat white in terms of the right strength that was delivered. The next came the Benedict. Dish presentation was not bad. Pierced through the egg by the fork and the yolk ran out smoothly with traces of egg white. Perfect job! The hollandaise sauce was light without filling effect. The only comment is on the salmon. It is slightly salty and the grade is slightly under. If they can use more premium grade of smoked salmon, the review mark definitely will go higher. <br/ Rating 4.5/5
