Amazing Thai. We usually go to “spicy I’m Thai” in paddington as it was our favourite but Bann Suan is BETTER! The red duck curry was a standout with the duck melting in your mouth. Bann Suan was hit and miss. Firstly, the service was amazing very attentive, friendly and quick to clear empty tables. We ordered two stir fried dishes the Tamarind Duck and Pad Prik Khing Mu Grob. Both dishes tasted quite similar, were served with the same 5 stir fried veg and were much sweeter than I was expecting. There was no hit of the tamarind sour I was looking forward to and the sliced duck had clearly been cooked a few times before. Now onto the other good bits! The curry puff entree was the nicest curry puff I've had in quite some time. The beef massaman curry was the real stand out of the night the beef and potatoes were perfectly cooked in the silky and generously portioned sauce.
