One of the most memorable alcohol experiences I've had was at this restaurant. The entire medaille selection was not only delicious but also offered a uniquely enjoyable taste for drinks with such high alcohol by volume. They have a solid variety of homemade dishes, and the quality and presentation of everything we tried were top-notch. Dylan, the owner, bartender, and cook, along with his friendly dog, took great ca... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Valhalla Meadery:
Found this interesting place on Google while staying in Gardiner. Made the drive up on a Saturday afternoon and arrived at 2:30. Unfortunately, the young lady who was apparently the only person manning the place said she wasn't feeling well and was closing for the day. Very disappointing...would have loved to try it out after the long drive. View all feedback.
Super cool room, great staff, great food and wow don't forget the meade! so good! 10/10
Excellent mead, I mean really good. Superb and friendly service, recommended
Spectacular mead and great food! We had two flights and we let one of the owners choose for us. He choose Earl Gray, Dragon's Blood, and Hop Session, all of them were amazing. The Dragon's Blood was made with beets and ginger an amazingly unique flavor. I know what you're thinking, unique as in bad or weird, but no it was surprisingly good. We also had the Huckleberry, Flat Head Cherry, and All Father. My two favorites were the Earl Grey and the All Father, amazing. If you are in Bozeman you must try this place you will feel like you died in battle and truly ended up in Valhalla!
What a great place. Food was great and trust me you have not had mead like this before!
Would have given five stars. The mead was very tasty and the flavor descriptions were spot on. The smorgasbord was very nicely prepared. The service was the issue. My husband and I walked in and sat with our friends. Our table was the only one in the place. The server (didn’t get her name-short,long black hair, erl piercing) didn’t greet us or even look up. She didn’t come over to our table until we called her over. This is a small establishment and she was behind the bar about 10’ away. My husband ordered the grilled cheese. She came back 5+ min later to tell him that the cook had to run out for more cheese (we were there within an hour of opening) then turned and walked away. Zero personality. She was perfunctory at best boarding on rude. I would try it again but if I saw her there I’d choose to spend my money elsewhere.
