Our server, Val, took about 5-6 minutes to approach us, despite walking by several times without acknowledging us or saying “hi” or “I’ll be right with you.” It... read more Our server, Val, took about 5-6 minutes to approach us, despite walking by several times without acknowledging us or saying “hi” or “I’ll be right with you.” It also took her a while to check in and refill our water. The drink refills took another 5-6 minutes. Overall, she seemed disinterested and indifferent towards her tables. As someone who works in the service industry myself, I believe her performance could use significant improvement.
