It's a good local non-franchise diner. A simple non-conceptive menu. The food strives for increased praises for trying to be above the position it has. This is well prepared for the person/persons, good food served with home style familiarity and kindness. Lots of parking and they won't hurry. By the way, the Eclairs are delicious! What User doesn't like about Saville's Diner:
The food is excellent and affordable, and the desserts are truly delicious. However, many of the servers seem unhappy and unfriendly, often treating customers poorly. It feels like they only acknowledge customers because they have to. There may be a need for group therapy (and possibly medication) for the staff, from management down to the servers, because their behavior and attitudes are unjustifiable. Additionally,... Isn't here for years, and the place doesn't look like he's changed a lot. The waitresses were very nice, the food was in a timely way for all regular guests there, and three meals were delicious! 10 out of 10, would go back. Although I don't remember seeing the big, delicious dessert case. Maybe I missed it. That was always a favorite of me (to grab a leak on the way out of the door).
The phone service was awful. Then she deceived the owner with a lie. What a surprise.

It feels like they only acknowledge customers because they have to. There may be a need for group therapy (and possibly medication) for the staff, from management down to the servers, because their behavior and attitudes are unjustifiable. Additionally, customers are made to feel as if they are just trying to take the napkin holders. I witnessed a waitress once suggest that an older patron should hand his tip directly to her instead of leaving it on the table. It's disappointing that you have to almost watch over yourself in this environment.
