Extensive menu usually with some surprising specials and other non- standard cafe fare. Good, tasty food cooked and baked by the owner/chef. Friendly and efficient service, again personally overseen by the owner/chef who has often served us. Prices also are reasonable. On this last occasion I had the ham minestrone soup with sourdough bread which was delicious.
Fresh, tasty real food and bakery. Respectful staff. Look after elderly One of the best cafe in the area Highly recommended
An excellent spot, instant service, nice touches to scrambled eggs (I wish the average places bothered), great coffee. Aids my theory that places off the main drag have to serve better food to generate custom
Spectacular lunch great find on just arriving in Bowral. One of the best croque Madame's I have tasted very light bechamel sauce and the beetroot relish with the Gruyere Tart was superb. Very much looking forward to the return visit. Many thanks Kookabar
The menu is extensive, featuring some surprising specials and unique tea options that set it apart from standard cafes. The food is delicious, all prepared and baked by the owner, who also happens to be the cook. The service is friendly and efficient, with the owner personally attending to us on several occasions. The prices are quite reasonable as well. On my most recent visit, I had the ham minestrone soup with sourdough bread, and it was delicious.
