Brindee's - Bowling Green
Brindee's
Description
Comforting homestyle cooking and generous portions define this bustling breakfast-and-lunch spot. Patrons rave about thin, crispy pancakes, savory sausage, hearty meat‑and‑three plates, and refreshing sweet tea; platter meals with multiple sides and desserts offer strong value. Service is warm and attentive, and the place draws lines at peak times. A recurring issue is inconsistent food temperature — some dishes arrive lukewarm or cold — and there’s little waiting-area space, but most guests leave satisfied and eager to return.

Delicious and large portions for a reasonable price! I had a salad with fried chicken tenders and it was on a platter that was big enough for the family to share. I was with coworkers so they had to fend for themselves, but still it was big enough. Most platter meals come with 3 sides so there was enough on the table to share. Great sweet tea too!
We came at a busy time and had to wait about 20 minutes before we were seated. The only issue we encountered was that there's really no waiting area so it felt like we were in everyone's way. After we were seated, everything was perfect. My wife had the meatloaf and it was one of the best I've ever tasted. I had the catfish and it was absolutely delightful. Even though this restaurant is about 90 minutes away, we will definitely come back again in the future. Their platter meals are awesome and priced at a good rate. Don't forget to check out their pies.
These are genuinely the best pancakes I've ever tasted. They were thin, crispy, and buttery—so good I didn't even need syrup. The sausage was also delicious. The hashbrown casserole was quite tasty, but it was only lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. I'll definitely return next time I'm in town just for the pancakes!
The breakfast was delicious! The service was wonderful and friendly. This is definitely a place worth visiting!
This restaurant is consistently a fantastic choice for a homestyle meal. You definitely get your money’s worth here! If you walk away hungry, it's really nobody's fault but your own. The breakfast specials are outstanding, and I particularly enjoy the country fried steak served with eggs cooked to your liking, a choice of potato, and either biscuit and gravy or toast. The place is always bustling, and the wait staff are incredibly friendly! They serve the best sausage around, from Kirby and Poe! Give it a try—you won't be disappointed!
