Street Corner Bob's - Bowen Hills

In a good location with plenty of seating indoor and out, but lacking in ambience. Service is average. Lots of food options which are all okay/average, but nothing outstanding or different. Portions are good.

I've been here about 5-6 times maybe more. I always get the lunch time special of chips a chicken burger (you can choose a beef burger instead) and a can of drink for $12 which to me is great value, considering the burger I think tastes unreal! I crave their chicken burgers and I don't even think about looking at the menu because I just love this burger so much, it's just my go to. It's a really decent sized portion, a fresh gourmet roll with grilled chicken thigh which is really tender and juicy. It has some sort of herby garlic aoli with avocado in it type sauce on it which I gather is what gives it such a bang, along with bacon and fresh lettuce as well. It's serious a fresh and great tasting burger I recommend you try. I actually get double chicken when I do order but make sure during the week you maybe phone between 9:30 and 11 as its packed with workers. Might try the cheeseburger sometime.

Disappointed, I live just around the corner and thought I would try somewhere new to get some food and coffee. As per some of the reviews below I checked the time they were open till on a Saturday which was 5pm on their Facebook page and on Zomato. However when I got there at 10:30am I was told the kitchen was closed and I could have wraps in the fridge. Why bother even opening at all if your closing the kitchen at 10:30am? Street corner bobs sort your s**t out.

A surprising find - the coffee was very good, and the food delicious. I had the mushroom with spinach and poached eggs was very good, I usually don't order a lot of toast dishes but this was the perfect combination.
