Was Anonym at The Lost Loaf a mag?
Very impressed with their wonderful rye bread and other baked goods. People who winge so much like the review about living o/s should maybe consider baking their own bread and then they don't need to complain so much! Keep up the amazing products, which we travel one hour for! View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Lost Loaf:
I would have given my own advice from my last review and never returned, but thought that if I arrived at 9:15 a.m., would certainly be some sandwiches to buy. Apparently, all sandwiches they made for the day were brought to a market where they would participate, so that the poor suckers who had come to the store were left empty. interesting choice of priorities, but I guess I have what I deserved. To defocus me once... View all feedback.

(1) Hot cross bun (6 for $12.50)It was still very hot (just out of the oven) but they put them in a plastic bag - food safety concern! They had cake carton tray for sweets, so how come they do not use it and put in a brown bag so that it does not sweat. On top of this situation, it tasted and smelled some kind of milk products that is not quite right. Worst hot cross bun ever!(2) Very limited selection - only 1 sourdough bread which is 100% organicIf you are paying $8.00 a loaf, it should be organic, if I compare to other organic bakeries. It was so light in weight. Good organic bread is heavier.(3) Burned croissantIt is $4.00 but it was burned on the top and did not have enough layers nor nice crispy crunch on the top. Totally overrated. As I have lived in Europe and USA for years and got used to real "Artisan organic bakery products", I was more than disappointed and felt like wasted my time and money to go there.

I've been here s few times. $8.00 loaves use quality flour and seeds. Nice and crusty bread. French sticks are amazing also. Bread is put into a nice thick paper bag-not thin or plastic. Prices-what you would expect to pay for artisan bread in a small sa business in a niche hip location i.e. Plant 4.Range-not as large as a bakery but that's fine - that's not their service offering. Small range = quality goods.

The Lost Loaf has been recently relocated to Plant 3 Bowden. From my perspective, they are one of the few top bakeries available in Adelaide. Their prices are quite reasonable. They have sweet pastries, cakes and breads. They also offer coffees, with plenty of sittings available, either indoor or outdoor. Within Plant 3, there are a brewery, a bar, a flower plant shop etc. Plant 3 has a semi-transparent roof, so it's bright and warm when there is sunshine outside. A perfect place for enjoying a morning coffee with a delicious pastry. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Not that many coffee shop need to queue for >10 minutes just for ordering in Adelaide, so this place must be good. Coffee is very good, pastry even better. Always get baguette take home, not cheap here but justify for quality on what you get. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
