Chez Francine - Bouzigues

We have returned time and again the Chez Francine since 2001. It never disappoints. The sea food is consistently fresh. The wines always compliment the dishes and the service is always to a good standard. You must book for weekend meals. What else can one say since returning to the same restaurant speaks volumes!!

We love Bouzigues and this was our third visit to Chez Francine. Nothing changes and nothing disappoints. Super fish, service and value for money. The Parillada was a feast with mussels, prawn brochettes, squid, bream, and bass plus gratin potato and ratatouille washed with a carafe of vin Blanc watched over by an attentive polite crew all overlooking the Etang de Thau. Wonderful!

We stopped for lunch and had the 18E, 3 course offering. Six oysters and 6 raw mussels, then mussels and frites and a choice of 4 dessert types. The resteraunt is right across the road from the bay,so a nice situation. Food was great quality and service was also fast and super.

This is a very busy restaurant. We went there for lunch on a day of a French Holiday. We didn't book ahead but we're lucky to get a table inside. The shared oyster platter for 46 Euros for 2 was huge and well worth the money, the bottle of white wine in the price was also very good. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Altogether a very good place and a worthwhile experience.
