I had a great dining experience with good service. I’m not sure what others are saying about the service; it almost made me reconsider going. However, I found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. I deducted a star because they ran out of about ten items, including one that was the main reason for our visit. Still, our roast was delightful, and the prawns were amazing. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about The Libertine:
More of a trendy place than a traditional pub, I'd say. Not convinced many drink ale in here as mine was slightly on the turn. Had to wait an age to get my first drink and wasn't really sure why as staff kept walking past doing seemingly small things. Bit more awareness needed I think. A bit on the expensive side too. That all said, very nice atmosphere. View all feedback.

My daughter and my son in the law had high-time reception in the forge on the back of the libertine. the rustic charm of the place failed neither, nor the eating or the personal that was attentive and extremely efficient. can't thank them enough for thought and efficient service there. well done and thanks. would highly recommend.

What a great place to eat. The good was great and my fish was so big it hung over the sides of the plate. Delicious. The decor inside the restaurant was very nice indeed. The staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Well worth a visit

Visited for the first time today. Found the setting very comfortable and relaxing. The young lady serving was exceptional in her welcome and service. Served us immediately and without prompting brought water for the dog. She regularly popped back to ask if we needed anything else. Really glad we called in and will definitely do so again.

Popped in for Sunday lunch today for first time and it was so good, staff were very polite and friendly but the Sunday dinner was a winner! best one I've had in a while, rack of pork which was cooked to perfection along with the beef dripping roasties which were spot on and real tasty, good crunch on the veg and tasty gravy would highly recommend this place.

Met with friends in this lovely establishment. Sunday afternoon and the weather was hot. We opted to sit inside as we had all been outside for most of the day. It was cool and not very busy. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the whole place has a great vibe. We only had drinks and stayed a couple of hours. We like this place and, having eaten here before, can recommend the food. Nice place
