For a hotel dining room, it was satisfactory, although the large space made it feel a bit lacking in ambiance. We ordered a rump steak, a beef burger, and a sea bass special, all of which were well cooked and enjoyable. The service was attentive and friendly. View all feedback.
Booked on late notice but they were very accommodating for myself and my partner. Service was excellent and did not rush us to finish our meal at all like we have experienced before in other restaurants.
We have only had Dinner here but this was our 5th or 6th visit. From the moment you walk into the Hotel Lobby the surroundings make you feel special and this continues around into the Restaurant. The Menu has something for everyone, the staff are attentive and the food was delightful. Do not miss this experience next time you visit Bournemouth.
I phoned to change our booking in the morning from 7.30pm to 8pm. Upon arrival, there was no record of our booking at all! Luckily it was a Monday and there were no other bookings. Service was hit and miss and we were told that this was due to new staff. Good was OK, but you can get infinitely better set menus in London for exactly the same price. A disappointment.
We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Highcliff Grill and we highly recommend it for its warm and intimate ambience, outstanding food, a most generous wine list and above all a truly professional and welcoming service. Thank you for making our event so special!
Service was very slow ... one waitress serving many tables. lacked atmosphere, food not to standard expected.
