Called in this restaurant in passing and so glad we did. Service was exemplary and staff were so happy in their job and the duty manager was on top of everything. We had the for Wednesday deal with sweet potato fries which were...fabulous. The waitresses were so sweet we felt we we had be coming for years. Overall top notch in all departments and more than happy to recommend as . View all feedback.
What Gesta Oškalns doesn't like about Charcoal Chicken Company:
I visited this restaurant a year ago and decided to give it another try. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but the food, although quick and hot, was lacking in flavor. I felt like I could easily make the same dish at home for £5 instead of paying £25. The chicken wings were the standout dish. View all feedback.
We only tried this place out for the first time a few weeks ago but have returned for a takeaway several times since. My wife and I, and several other members of the family that we have recommended the place to, think it's great. Every...meal has been exceptional. Really tasty and well cooked chicken and very generous portions. This isn't like your average chicken takeaway it is much, much better. The Katsu curry wrap is fantastic, the wings are excellent and even their corn on the cob is fab. Highly recommended.
Tried this place out a year ago and thought I’d give it a second chance . Friendly enough and looks the part but although the food came quickly and was hot it lacked flavour and I could of produced the same at home for of The chicken wings were very good .
I have been here before when the name was different, back then it was OK, came today walked into the resturant area and there was no one to be seen, flys everywhere, stood around for a couple of minutes and then shouted for some kind...of response, no one heard, popped my head into the kitchen area to see staff members chatting away, finally got seated outside as its a hot day, i noticed while walking through to the open back garden area there was lots flys inside the resturant, there was pools of water under some of the tables, the floor looked dirty and the tables clothes on some of the tables ripped, just before the back door was looking into the refrigerator area with wash sinks to see a mess, i ignored as i was starving and just wanted food. We then ordered drinks was told they might not have soda water as it was “running low” the waitress came back with the soda water and a drink for my friend. We ordered the food and it eventually came out she gave us the food but i had to ask for knifes and forks! When she fame back with the knifes and forks in hand with no serviettes or anything put them down on the wooden table and walked away saying enjoy, the knifes and forks had water marks all over. I ended up walking back into the resturant to get our own serviettes, the greens were good, avocado salad ok, but the chicken was dry with no sauce, as there was no one around i asked for some sort of sauce and was told it was an extra so i got that. The place is a mess, dirty and the customer service was terrible, the black lady who I’ve seen before seem overly relaxed and seemed flippant in manner, the other staff not much different, the place has lost its way, looks like they are just hanging out and getting what they can while they can, i GUARANTEE this place is gone soon OR A name change (which they have done a few times In a short period of time? Totally rubbish , do NOT go here.
Came here today after a reunion game of golf with a few friends from university. The service was rapid and the quality of chicken first class. The manager and his staff gave excellent advice in relation to the menu and even sorted out our gluten...free group member. A wide range of sauces and drinks are available. Will be visiting when in Bournemouth again. DC Shirazi
Lovely food. Venue toasty warm. Staff really helpful without being your face. Wraps and burritos are massive.
