What User doesn't like about Lobster Trap:
We were seated promptly on a Sunday night and had great service from the wait staff. We ordered crab Rangoon, fish tacos, fried shrimp, fried scallops, Caesar salad, and the $85 chilled platter. Everything was okay and met our expectations. It was not outstanding, but we would recommend it as an average restaurant. I have had better quality seafood before, so I was a bit disappointed as a first-time visitor to Cape C... View all feedback.
Stopped for a late lunch and the lobster roll was so good! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Stopped here on my mini-moon with my husband. The food was delicious! I got the seafood stew which was amazing. It had large pieces of lobster, whole shrimp and whole scallops. My husband got the fried scallop dinner which was also delicious. Only downside was we had our pup with us and she was not allowed on the patio. We ended up taking our food to the town beach which was actually more beautiful than the patio anyway! Would definitely come back again. When visiting family in Massachusetts, we typically go to New Bedford for seafood. This time, we decided to try out the Lobster Trap in the Cape area and we were not disappointed. The seafood was delicious, although mostly fried. Despite this, it was the only Cape restaurant we visited twice. The first time we tried the Cod, and the second time we had the shrimp. Both meals came with a side of roasted corn salad and fries. The bar had a great selection of craft draft beers, and the view of the river was stunning. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
