Mezza Luna is consistently a solid choice. However, this time, the wait for our food was longer than usual. The calamari seemed to be boiled rather than fried. On the plus side, the waitstaff was excellent—very attentive and helpful. Delicious food in a very ambient setting. The Eggplant parmigiana is just fantastic. The pasta was al dente and both Alfredo an marinara sauces are great. But do save room for desserts! I tried the molten chocolate cake and wished I could eat more. Thecocktails are also refreshing and I liked the salad too.
My family and I have been in this restaurant for many years and enjoy it every time. The restaurant was not very crowded at that time and you could find Italian guys who come together to enjoy the company of the other. The food was so delicious to order cooked with any meal. Today it's a busy place and I'm happy for her.
My Husband and I frequently dine at The Mezza Luna. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The Hostess at lunch time is especially friendly, always makes us feel welcome. The food is consistently excellent. The mussels are always wonderful. Love all the Italian dishes. The bread is very nice. Of course, the prime rib on Wednesday or Saturday nights is perfect.
Been over a year since we last visited this great restaurant but glad we did yesterday. Awesome relaxing atmosphere for a great dining experience and service was perfect. We enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, perfectly presented and so tasty. I enjoyed the chicken Marsala very much and my husband enjoyed the stuffed haddock. No room for desserts and brought food home. A wonderful place to dine.
We are very fortunate to have the Mezza Luna Restaurant situated in the Town of Bourne. Good food, great service and a friendly atmosphere are everything we look for when dining out. We enjoy eating there whether we have a party of two or ten. They are also able to accommodate small and large gatherings and receptions. We are always pleased when dining at the Mezza Luna!
