Then the memories starte... read more I'm pretty sure that my mother used to bring me here when I was a kid-but I had forgotten about that until I visited again as an adult. Then the memories started eeking their way back from the corners of my mind. The chocolate mint sandwiches were a semi-regular treat in our house growing up. Holidays, birthdays or other special occasions called for those mints.Of course, those are still here. But my more grown-up palate acknowledged the wider variety of options and snagged a few. Everything was delicious-although the cherry cordials were not my favorite; something about them was just off. But everything else was tasty and I'll certainly find my way back when I'm in the area again.
