Ray's Bistro - Bound Brook

The food is always great here. They took care of our last party and all loved the food.

My husband and two daughters decided to try out Ray’s over the weekend on Saturday night. There was Disney themed karaoke inside so we decided to sit out on the patio since it was a little too loud inside. We had a server Named Barbie who sat us and took our order then disappeared. Our appetizers and soup came out slow and cold. My daughter went inside to check on the delay and our server was busy talking to other tables as if she forgot about us. Shortly after a different server who was serving the other outside table named Alicia had came over and took over our table and she did an outstanding job. She gave us a gift card to use if we ever decide to go back for the inconvenience. She was also very understanding, apologetic and gave excellent service. At first we weren’t considering coming back, but how things picked up and ended on a great note we will definitely be coming back. The food was delicious and the specials sounded great as well. They provided bruschetta and garlic knots. The balsamic on the bruschetta is so good. We had the Rays Salad with shrimp, Sicilian salad, chicken parmigiana, chicken balsamic, and chicken saltimbocca. The coconut shrimp sauce is to die for. They were out of a lot of desserts and options on the menu as well but we had a lemoncello and a mud pie for dessert and that as well was very good. Would like to give it another try.

OMG! So good! Dinner was very very good. Even the garlic knots and salad (so fresh! were so good. And reasonably priced and nice size portions. We did the takeout but dining room looked nicely spaced and clean.

I've been here for over two years. From NYC, where the pizza is top notch. There is not really word of mouth reviews about what pizza is good, it is all online. If I'm looking for great pizza in my area, the same pizzerias always come up. I tried them, and they're okay. I tried Ray's Bistro for the first time and was blown away like all other local pizzerias were blown away. First, it's nice inside. People there are really nice. The food tastes great, they have a great cake. There is a really bad thing in the place and it is that they do not come in the Google search. I found this place over the Slice app. I really hope the secret will come out. This place is really good. UPDATE NOV 2021 I have placed an online order. I picked them up, and there's a sign on the door that says they're closed for Kovid. But they still took my money. I had to fight with my bank to get my money back.

A hidden jewel safe and the price is right! The free garlic knots and bruschetta are to die. Spinat rice balls as an appetizer were great! The entrances come with a salad and were absolutely delicious. This was our first time here when a friend recommended Rays. We will definitely be back and try one of their meat or poultry dishes! Definitely worth a try!
