Lovely restaurant and friendly service. Food was very tasty though perhaps a little over priced. I had a steak which was cooked to perfection so can’t complain! Would recommend. View all feedback.
What Kraxet doesn't like about Le Swan:
Avoid! Overpriced and cheeky, charging extra when there is a chance (hello 7€ for a bottle of water for 1 person! . Fail proof onion soup was not gratinated but a sad grey mush served with prefabricated, rock hard croutons from a factory and grated plastic cheese without flavour. A french chef (or anyone cooking with a bit of pride would cry. The service was relatively friendly and location is nice. View all feedback.

We have been visiting this restaurant for many years, we have introduced family and friends that have all been overwhelmed with the hospitality of the wonderful lady and her family that own this restaurant. All we can say is that we are really looking forward to our next visit, our stay in Boulougne would not be the same without dinner at La Swan
We chose a couple of different menu's of the day and I was pretty happy with mine,the starter was great, really good fish/seafood bowl and my main of salmon was cooked quite well, if a bit unexciting ...BUT 2 others of our group had the slightly cheaper menu du jour and said it was awful! Overly salty, blended fish soup with not enough depth of flavour and the main of salmon and cod which was overcooked with a ratatouille that could have been from a jar, it was quite unpleasant. Another opted for chicken and chips which was slightly dry. The deserts were quite good. So, overall a mixed bag but we wouldn't return.
Accueil agréable . Niveau repas je vous déconseille l’escalope normande !!!!! Le goût de la viande même cuite avec la sauce vous laisse découvrir un goût abominable. Nous n’avons pas était la seule table dans ce cas là . J’en informe la serveuse et lui conseille la goûter elle-même et là !!!!!!elle coupe la viande direct à table avec les couverts de mon fils et goûte devant nous !!! Quel professionnalisme !!!!!! Pour moi première et dernière fois . Je ne vous donne pas de conseil mais à méditer . Lui-même
Pris l'aile de raie aux câpres, un délice, le poisson magnifiquement cuit, le service super agréable, madame est très souriante et amicale, à refaire
