Reviews - PMG
Reviews summary
The restaurant in question has received a wide range of reviews, with some customers feeling disappointed by slow service, small portions, and overpriced wine. Other diners, however, have praised the consistently good quality of the food, the changing and unique menu options, as well as the intimate and quiet setting that allows for good conversation. Appreciation was also expressed for the special attention to the quality of food, such as milling their own ancient grains for breads and pasta and offering cooking classes. Patrons remarked on the exceptional food and attentive service, while others found the experience to be good but not outstanding, with some minor issues like oversalted zucchini and tasteless tomatoes. Overall, opinions were mixed, but the restaurant seemed to be popular among those who appreciated the unique offerings, quality food, and warm atmosphere.

Located on a side street just off the bustling Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, this quaint bistro is a hidden gem in a town filled with countless dining options.
I've been wanting to try out PMG for a while now, but there was always a reason why I couldn't go.
Are you in Boulder and searching for a delicious meal and great wine selection? Look no further than PMG! My girlfriend and I were in the same boat and discovered PMG.
Excellent food and service with a feel for local products. Cakes are incredible - especially nice for a special occasion.

The small plates and wine list at this restaurant are fantastic. The service is exceptional and the happy hour is great. Overall, the food is outstanding.
We hadn't visited PMG in about six months, but we were quickly reminded of how delightful it is. The restaurant is superb without being pretentious.
We enjoy bringing our visitors from out of town to this restaurant. The menu is always changing, but consistently delicious with unique choices. The cozy atmosphere provides a perfect opportunity to converse and enjoy a delightful bottle of wine together.

We had dinner there with our friends last Saturday. The restaurant serves European themed, French and Italian inspired cuisine. Everything is à la carte. The portion side is not large but the price is reasonable. The menu is not large and it changes often. We were there at happy hour which offers reduced prices for house wine choices and some small bites. Grilled squid with chickpeas, potatoes, and salsa verde was delightful but it is a salad, not an entrée. Cavatelli with lamb ragù is also our favorite. We would like to go back there again to sample other items.
Cool little place off Pearl street in Boulder that seems good for small parties. I came here with my wife and some friends the other day and we had a food time. The snow was coming down and it wasn’t that busy but that just meant we got really attentive service. All of the dishes we tried were family style but the standout was the lamb ribs. They have good happy hour drinks too.
We adore this Boulder restaurant for its exceptional wine choices, attentive and welcoming staff, and delightful, creative menu offerings.
I think this restaurant is completely underrated. It never disappoints! The food is delicious every time, even though the menu is limited. It's a great place to meet friends and share plates. The wine list is excellent and they have creative cocktails. The setting is small and intimate, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. Plus, there is a small outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice!
This restaurant is amazing, with excellent food, cocktails, and wine. I have been twice - once for a full dinner and another time for drinks and appetizers - and both visits were outstanding. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner even came by our table to chat with us. The food was cooked perfectly and exceeded my expectations. My only advice is to make sure to leave room for dessert!
