Interesting dishes, sources, nice presentation, overpriced wine; I feel that our pricey rack of lamb pieces) was undercooked and charbroiled to coal black why? Maybe I am not up-to-date with pricing (I am out only for special occasion) see the menu for yourself
I'm giving this place a full five stars, even though my experience was just at lunch. A full dinner service has more opportunities for things to go wrong, but I have to say—everything was perfect.
The restaurant wasn't very crowded on Wednesday evening. It's quite small, so it's not really suited for large groups.
The Kitchen offers a mixed dining experience, with highlights including expertly prepared dishes and attentive staff who elevate the occasion. Guests praise the exceptional service, particularly during special celebrations, where thoughtful gestures enhance the meal. Outdoor dining is available, though some find the ambiance lacking compared to the lovely interior. While many rave about delightful menu items like lobster rolls and unique cocktails, there are complaints regarding overcooked or underwhelming dishes and service delays. Overall, The Kitchen presents a captivating culinary adventure, though consistency in food quality and service remains a point for improvement.

This is the best food in Colorado. The outdoor seating innovation works. I prefer to sit outside on most nights.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding night here after being together for almost 10 years and honestly, this staff made it the most special dining out experience we’ve ever had! Complimentary champagne, wine tasters, appetizers; they went above and beyond. And the food and wine is exceptional! 5 star location. 5 stars overall. A big thank you to the staff at The Kitchen!

It was absolutely amazing in every way! The service was spot on and the food combos were just perfect. The deserts were unbelievably good! The wine was excellent. Its what I imagine eating at a restaurant in food paradise could be! It is the place of places to eat!
The BEST birthday dinner ever! We had the carpaccio for an app, and the steak and halibut for entrees. It was all perfect, but the halibut was amazing! The sunchoke puree with the citrus sauce... Everything on the plate worked so well together. I was treated to an olive oil and citrus cake with pistachio whipped cream (which I could've eaten a bucket of) and our wonderful server Shanti suggested the perfect wine to go with everything. All the staff were so hospitable and made us feel welcome. Thank you so much for a spectacular dinner!
This remains one of our top places to dine in Boulder. Started w mussels in a light cream/wine sauce that we thought was so fresh, flavorful and terrific. (Our server even anticipated we'd need more of the delicious dense bread to soak up the sauce. Entrees were Pasta Bolognese (best I've ever had and Colorado Striped Bass which was mouth-watering. Service is so attentive that even my doggy bag came labeled w restaurant name, dish and date! I love the atmosphere of happy folks enjoying really fine, locally sourced food. Keep doing what you're doing, Kitchen!
Really good place! I love the three/four pasta dish and the bread there. Worth a visit.

Food was amazed!! We had the carrots, salmon and gnocchi. The waiter forgot to place our order and didn't return to our ta le. An hour later after serving everyone that came after us he figured it out and blamed it on a deep fryer. ??????????? Could havebeen a 5?? Drinks were amazing too!
Great food! Such amazing blends complementing all your taste buds single bite! Had late night snacks, so adaptable to vegan and gluten free. Loved it! Ethan was wonderful too
I had an absolutely amazing dinner during my recent trip to Colorado. My girlfriend and I selected this restaurant from a variety of enticing options in the Boulder area, and I'm so glad we did. The cocktails were exceptional and had a unique twist, while the grilled oysters and burrata appetizers were simply divine. The two main courses we shared were equally impressive. The crab fried rice offered a deliciously upgraded version of the classic takeout dish, and the black spaghetti with shrimp was a wonderful medley of flavors. We capped off the meal with house-made sweet corn ice cream adorned with delightful toppings—wow! At the time, I declared this to be one of my top five dining experiences ever. This place is a must-visit!
This restaurant is stunning! We ordered the steak, salmon, and grilled oysters, all of which were incredibly delicious. While it’s not the cheapest place, we definitely got our money's worth. We had to wait about 25 minutes to be seated at the bar since reservations are essential; a table for two would have required a 2-hour wait. I highly recommend it!
This is a wonderful restaurant in the Boulder area. They offer a great selection of spirits, wines, and beers. We enjoyed some excellent bourbons and IPAs. The service is exceptional—be sure to ask for Ariana when you visit. She was very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and even informed us that our food would be slightly delayed, emphasizing their commitment to quality. The manager, Peter, also stopped by to check on our experience. The food was absolutely amazing, with something for everyone. As a fan of Boulder, I can say this restaurant is yet another shining star in the city’s culinary scene.
