Stopped in here on our way through. Have not had Dixie Lee for a while so thought we would try it. Staff were friendly and the meal was good. Cost was what we expected. Would return of driving by. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dixie lee fried chicken:
When we arrived in the late afternoon, the restaurant wasn't busy, but we ended up waiting almost an hour for our two burgers, fish and chips, and poutine. Once the food arrived, it was hot and tasted good, although that could have been because we were so hungry. View all feedback.
My partner and I ordered the chicken snack for everyone! The food was freshly cooked and hot, just how we like it! The prices were competitive and the restaurant was clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this place!

The counter is only partially staffed, even during peak dinner hours, leading to long lines and delays in service.
Service was less than pleasant. eating was not pleasant and the ambiente is not present. we will not come back in the final.
The fish was so overcooked as to be inedible. The batter had broken on all 5 pieces of fish we ordered and the results were brown dry fisk and a CRUST rather than batter . WE spent 25$ on what amounted to be Fries and...some average coleslaw. If you are visiting in Season....Go to Pirates de la Mar instead. The food there is great.
