I had supper this evening at Restaurant La Sagouine. Just before I got there, a bus had arrived with over 50 people I got the last empty table.

We stopped before for breakfast and enjoyed it enough that we decided to return for supper.

Staying next door we ate here twice, both times really great reception and lovely food too. For dinner we both had the magnificent seafood chowder to start, chock full of lobster and scallops. Then Seafood Casserole and Fisherman’s Platter. We had to take all the batter off the latter as didn’t realise it was deep fried. Both dishes packed with tasty lobster, shrimps, scallops and all things from the sea. Breakfast was equally good – chef’s and country breakfast and decent bottomless coffee. It was my second time at this location, I found that this establishment was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very kind, the first time I was Here I had potato pancakes, they were great. The second time, I had the seafood chowder, it had a hefty amount of seafood including shrimp, clam pieces, scallop and lobster. The prices are reasonable and the portions are awesome. Washrooms clean .
