Daquiri's Restaurant and Bar

This restaurant is a fantastic waterfront spot with amazing food, drinks, and great conversation with the waitress. We stopped in for a late lunch while passing by and were impressed by the beautiful view of the water and the refreshing breeze from the open windows. The menu is full of delicious seafood dishes, making it one of the best meals we had during our visit to New Brunswick. The waitress was friendly and shared interesting stories about her travels and ours. We loved the seafood chowder so much that we asked if we could take some to go. Although they didn't have take-out containers, the waitress kindly offered to give us some in her own personal plastic tupperware. The exceptional service, amazing food, and charming atmosphere make this restaurant a must-visit for tourists.

The restaurant is located in a prime spot right by the waterfront, with both a patio and a dining room. We had looked at the menu online and found a wide selection of dishes to choose from. However, our first impression upon arrival was not very good. The front door was dirty, and the reception area seemed to open up into the kitchen with boxes of supplies blocking the view. The menu had been reduced significantly. The staff was polite and we were served quickly. Due to our initial concerns, we decided not to order any seafood or fish dishes. Instead, we ordered Nachos, which were slightly overcooked and did not come with guacamole, but were reasonably priced at $12. Overall, we probably would not return for a meal, but we might recommend it for a drink during happy hour just for the nice view.

While the view is nice, the short order cooking staff seem only able to make 1 order at a time. With few guests in the restaurant we ordered fish chips (2). After 40 minutes we asked what’s the hold up. After 60 minutes we said good buy. Save yourself the aggravation. Go elsewhere. While Lise the server was polite, an hour for fish in a non busy time is just poor planning. Perhaps they need to close and fix a few things.

Called at 8 (website says they should be open til 9). No answer. Called again. And again. And again. And again. Finally went! No one there! Don't bother! Never open, apparently.

This was our first time at this restaurant and probably our last. we got there and was told to sit wherever we wanted and then we were not even acknowledged it took about 15 to 20 mins before someone even gave us a menu or drinks. then probably another 15 min before we ordered. It took 50 minutes to get our order that was not even correct! you would think in that 50 min wait time we would of at least got some ketchup and utensils but nope we had to ask for them after our food came out I had one of the burgers menu said smothered in BBQ sauce and it had none that I could see on it very dry it only had lettuce and tomato on it no condiments or onions there was mustard on the table no ketchup until we asked for it and then I went to put mustard on my bun that was grilled after shaking the bottle it was nothing but water and now I have a soggy bun So I called over the server explained what happened and ask if I could get another bun she didn't seem to impressed with the request but she took my plate that I had with ketchup on my fries and the tomato from my burger that I put on the side to assemble my burger, she brought me the same plate with my ketchup fries that are now cold and did not bother to toast the bun as it stated on the menu toasted bun and slap the same burger on it and served it to me but they decided to keep my tomato that was on the side of my plate. the waitress did do a walk by to ask if everything was good and we didn't even have a chance to answer as she didn't wait for a response. at the end we waited for our bill and we decided we were not waiting any longer and had enough of this place so we went to the cash and asked for our bill which by the look on their faces and tone and they were not impressed needless to say I did not leave a tip which is something I never do especially for the servers they work hard but the service was just down right unacceptable and the food was cold and horrible!!! Never again!!!
