What Stanley Lavallee doesn't like about The Biftheque:
Horrible food service, our waitress was good but the food was horrible, order a filet mignon medium, recieve my first well done, sent it back receive it blue. Ask to speak to the manager and she argues with me that her kitchen staff never makes mistakes and I don't know what I'm talking about, yelling at me. I always order prime rib and every time it's perfect, but last time it was disappointing. On the other hand, the service was great Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$100+ Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Well we went there for my Girlfriend birthday, everything was going very well! The waitress was awesome, the food was good but the manager darn!!! What an ! He came to us at 20:50 sayin, hey we close at 9. I said yes i know thats why we paid and slowly getting ready this jerk answered me, reallyyou gonna stay till 9?? He was pissed because i sad that we were slowly going after we paid over 100 in tip on a meal that cost 200 WTH man!! i am so mad rightnow!! If you want everyone to be gone for 9, put the you close at 8:30 on your freakin schedule! 8h45 you wont have anyone left and from the MaPAC law, if someone gets in your restaurant at 8h30 you have to serve him ant LET HIM FINISH IS MEAL even if you close at 9! He is not a good manager! he dont want to pay after 9? fine, close early to give enough time to your emplyees to close after everyone is gone! Not say “oh we are closing at 9, well we are leaving at 9!” its not the same thing! leaving and closing shouldnt be at the same time!! you coose, give a 15minutes to people to finish everything like in the bars, and then when everyone is gone, finish one thing or 2 and boom, keys are in the hole and youre gone!! if you cant do this dont open your darn restaurant!!
Honest food without more. The Server Samuel makes us paid, makes sure that you leave him at least 15% by speaking loudly enough at the table that everyone is without cheap and yet I am used to leaving a good tip because I am in the restaurant business for 35 years. Let's just say that this doesn't really make us want to go back.
