The la... read more Cosy village pub, but badly let down by their staff and kitchen service. Went there with family for a quick late afternoon drinks nibbles on 25 May 2026. The lady who tended the bar couldn’t have been more disappointed and indifferent to having had to serve us, and the kitchen only served our small plates of ribs and fries, after we had to enquire whether the order was still coming. Quality of the food was as disappointing as the bar service was bad. Unfortunately, as locals, this is not the first time we’ve experienced such poor service at the Apple Tree.
