We had lunch here yesterday. They are just starting up indoor dining again and are struggling, however our meal was nice. We started with papadam, which came with three different chutneys, each one very different from the others and quite flavorful. I ordered Tikka Saag, medium heat. The dish was flavorful and fresh. My partner ordered a rich, creamy lamb curry that he enjoyed very much. Our dishes came with basmati... View all feedback.
We thought we would try this great Indian restaurant in North East Seattle and and glad we did-it's really super good! We ordered curried goat, lamb vindaloo extra spicy- raita, stuffed kulcha, basmati and brown rice and I have two glasses of Indian wine, one rose and one Cabernet. I especially love the rosé.
Flavorful Indian food. Has a lunch buffet. Tandoori and lamb is really good. Keep it this way. Please start outdoor seating

The chef came out as we were finishing our meal to thank us and ask for feedback about the meal, which I found to be very considerate. They have a lunch special menu which is very reasonably priced.
This is the best Indian cuisine in town! All dishes are authentic, delicious and the spice level is just right. This has been our go-to for a long time, and hope others will give it a try. You won’t be disappointed! The owner and staff are the nicest people as well.
We've enjoyed several Indian restaurants down the street and decided to try this one on an early Wednesday evening. We order two beers. The server arrived with two frosted glasses and one large beer bottle. He said they were out the regular size bottles and the big bottle was less expensive. We order and asked for medium spiced servings. For starters we were served very stale Pappadum. We asked for fresh Pappadum which was not much better. The Mulligatawny soup was very mildly spiced and didn’t impress. The roasted eggplant was tasty and had noticeable heat but was again very mildly spiced. The rice mix had clumps of white rice, not very appetizing. The bill charged us for the two beer bottles, not the less expensive larger bottle. In the future we’ll stick with our favorite nearby restaurants.
