Umi Japanese Cuisine Sushi - Boston

I've lived in Fenway for 7 years. Restaurants have come and gone (good bad) but sushi Kappo stands out. Their Ramen is top notch, and their Sushi Burritos (The Fenway Kappo) are incredibly satisfying. They have been a great addition to the neighborhood.

We just happened to go with my daughters on opening day and we all had an amazing time! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The food was fantastic! We live an hour away and still cannot wait to go back and get our yummy on! It's our favorite sushi place.

Very friendly staff and absolutely awesome food. Cool concept that is executed fantastically while giving you get tremendous bang for your buck in a clean environment.

Nice, clean place with friendly, efficient servers. Food is alright notably, shumai had that classic taste and the eel nigiri was flavorful and pretty. However, rolls can be a bit hit or miss; some pieces were way more rice and filler than fish, and the fish itself wasn’t always particularly anything to rave about. But a good choice for a nicely priced sushi dinner.

Went here on impulse on a chilly day. Best ramen I've had in a long time. Steamed buns were amazing and of course the volcano roll was also really good. Will definitely return
