Stopped by The Paramount just for the pancakes — and they delivered. Fluffy, thick, perfectly golden buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries, served with real maple syrup and bottomless coffee. Didn’t look at the rest of the menu. Didn’t need to. If you’re craving classic American-style pancakes in Boston, this place is a no-brainer. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great spot to grab breakfast before starting the freedom trail! They have great options. We ate here twice on our trip and enjoyed everything we got. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Oh, what a mornin’ at The Pah’mount, kid! The Queen and I rolled into Beacon Hill like we owned the place—until we hit the Friday parking sitch. Ay-yah, you’d think findin’ a spot in this city before noon was like tryin’ to parallel park a duck boat. But once we ditched the cah and hoofed it over, *bam*—we were back in business. Now, for you old-school Bahstonians, remember the original Paramount drill? You’d queue up like it was a Dunks run on a snow day, shout your order while some poor soul flipped pancakes like a circus act, then play musical chairs with your tray huntin’ for a table. Not anymore! Now? They seat ya like royalty—menus, water, coffee before you even blink—and the joint’s got a glow-up brighter than a Pats fan after a touchdown. Fresh paint, snazzy colors, but thank the food gods, the grub’s still bangin’. Let me tell ya, the Caramel Banana French Toast? Fuggedaboutit. That caramel sauce is slickah than a politician’s handshake—sweet but not cloyin’, with bananas ripe enough to make a smoothie jealous. The Queen went full Huevos Rancheros and gave it the royal nod—spicy, savory, wicked tasty. Bottom line? The Pah’mount’s still got it. Yeah, parkin’s a circus, but trust me—this breakfast? Worth every cah horn and parallel parkin’ swear word. Get in there, ya hear? —Your Bahston Breakfast Spy Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Incredible breakfast food! I really want to know how they get their fries this crunchy? The staff was fine, but a bit strange at times. A waiter brought us the check without us asking for it; felt like we were being nudged out. But we still wanted toorder dessert, which he really didn?t seem happy about, and felt the need to show it. Everything worked out in the end. Just anannoying interaction, hence the -1 star.
Recently took a visit to check out this popular brunch spot in the neighborhood. Paramount didn?t take reservations, but we were fortunate to grab a table in less than 15 minutes. Once seated, the food and drinks came out fairly quickly. The orange juicewas slightly too sweet for our taste, but the food was great overall. My favorites were the grilled fajita steak and eggs andthe Nutella waffle. The Latin American influence on the classic steak and eggs was good, and I also liked that the waffle wasn?toverly sweet despite the Nutella topping. With the lack of hearty breakfast options in the area, Paramount is definitely agreat option for breakfast or brunch if you?re looking for diner food. However, expect a longer wait if your party is more than4 people.
