Contribute FeedbackThe Merchant is a popular spot for those looking to enjoy a meal after attending events like The Nutcracker with their children. The ambience is pleasant, the location is great, and the service can be hit or miss. Some guests find the food to be overpriced for what it is, while others rave about the delicious dishes, like the slow-roasted chicken breast and crab cakes. The restaurant is known for its attentive service, with standout servers like Bri and Elizabeth. Guests appreciate the live jazz music and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. However, some diners report slow service and food that lacks a certain wow factor. Overall, The Merchant is a good choice for those looking for a stylish setting and a varied menu, but improvements could be made in terms of food quality and service speed.
This place was pretty good! Nothing very special about the menuPretty pricy for what they were offeringbut overall quality was very good.
Boyfriend and I came for Sunday brunchNot a lot of people so fair amount of attention given to us, which is nice.
Day 1 in Boston and decided to try this place, big mistakeNot much on their bar/evening menu.
Shrimp appetizer was a disappointment. Pizza was soggy. Truffle fries were excellent. Service was great. Food was not. My husband and I enjoyed happy hour and brunch and I was excited to bring my daughter here for dinner. It was okay but lots of room for improvement.
Really enjoyed everything! Very fresh, great flavor and attentive service, we will definitely go back!
