Contribute FeedbackTouted as having some of the best seafood in the city, The Daily Catch in Boston's North End delivers mixed results. While some diners rave about dishes like the black pasta and perfectly broiled swordfish, others are left disappointed by chewy, overly breaded calamari and mussels full of sand. Service varies from attentive and efficient to forgetful and slow. With a nice waterfront setting, the restaurant offers a great atmosphere for a date night or group dinner. Overall, The Daily Catch offers delicious homemade pasta and excellent service to some, but others find the food mediocre and service lacking.
Friendly and perfectly attentive service in a casual atmosphere. We had three very different dishes, and all were prepared with great ingredients to a very high standard. The cocktails were exceptional and perfect for our meal. A fantastic dining experience at a good value for that part of town
Great evening sat in the glass houses outside with heaters
Calamari app was deliciouscrispy and plenty of calamari. My squid ink pasta puttanesca with shrimp was the BOMB! Love the serving in the pan. So much food I had to bring some home next days’ lunch!. My wife’s pasta vongole was delicious. At least a dozen fresh clams with a delicious sauce. We rarely get desert but we decided to get the limoncello cake—it was delicious. Not to be missed. Service was excellent. Love the buzz that the restaurant has, too.
Overall liked the place, but no overwhelming need to go back. Food felt like it was missing seasoning and was on the blander side. Service was good though
Absolutely fresh and delicious. Shrimp cocktail. Superb quality
