We tried The Brahmin on the recommendation of a colleague with friends who were celebrating a birthday. First of all, the birthday was never acknowledged. Perhaps my note fell through the cracks. We were seated right next to the bar which is VERY noisy (I had requested a booth or corner table on my reservation). There were plenty of other options for seating the dining area was never full. The noisy bar seating, lackluster food, and unacknowledged birthday made for a disappointing experience. Despite the cool vibe, the switch from tapas to American fare and slow service left a lot to be desired. The restaurant also failed in terms of seating arrangements for a pre-theater dinner, with an unacceptable location disrupting the evening. However, the friendly bartenders, good food, attentive service, and cozy ambiance were highlights for some patrons. While the dress code may not be strictly followed, it did not detract from the enjoyment of the delicious food and fantastic service. Despite some shortcomings, the Brahmin has the potential to improve and has left some customers satisfied with their overall experience.
Had a very good experience here with my kids. The food arrived quickly and the customer service is just excellent. Prices are fair.
