I had a wonderful evening! The food and wine were fabulous! This charming little restaurant truly captures the essence of Boston. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any dessert, but their recommendation for Modern Bakery just down the street was spot-on! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Strega North End:
"This is a nice brunch spot for celebrating a birthday, especially if you're looking for a place to enjoy some day drinking and have an unforgettable experience. However, the music was quite loud—so much so that we had to shout to hear each other across the table. The brunch food was pretty mediocre, particularly the chicken waffles, and both of our main dishes were served lukewarm. On the bright side, the drinks were good and arrived quickly.".
Incredible food, wine and service. Everything was surprisingly reasonably priced and service was incredible.
I always enjoy Strega. Everything about the place. Carlo and Phil are wonderful!
Wonderful meal. Old School North End Vibe. Loved this place. Food was amazing. Try the Stuffed Veal Chop. It will not disappoint. Friend ordered the Bolognese, I am usually not a fan but this was to die for. Added bonus decor very mob movie, old mob movies playing on screens throughout the restaurant. Very campy but I loved it.
I was so sad that my favorite gnocchi is no more! The gnocchi was doughy and not tasty. Those with me also didn’t like their dishes much. The waiter was abrupt and a bit rude.
Strega north end- My new favorite restaurant. The Godfather plays on the wall while you eat. Sinatra croons from the speakers. There are a million chandeliers. The waitstaff is hilarious and having a great time. I had the sea bass, it was divine. Everyone else had a pasta (gnocchi, bolognese) dish and loved them. 10/10. If you are looking for an experience and not just another mediocre restaurant, check it out!
