The bar itself was nice, but I had a disappointing experience with the front desk staff. The young woman who greeted us, with brunette hair in a ponytail and glasses, was quite rude and clearly not suited for a customer-facing role. On Saturday night, my friends and I arrived as a group of eight and were seated in an uncomfortable and cramped area. There was a perfectly nice booth and table available nearby that could have accommodated us better, but it didn't seem to occur to her to suggest that option. When I politely asked if we could move, she immediately responded with a negative attitude. If this is the kind of service you want to represent your bar, it might be better to place her behind the scenes in a role that doesn’t involve direct customer interaction.

We recently held a team dinner at Scholars and were highly impressed with both the service and the food. Everyone in the team enjoyed their drinks and appreciated the variety available on the menu. Our servers were attentive and accommodating to our large group of 20, and I will definitely plan to bring the team back for our next outing. The flank steak was fantastic, especially when paired with an Old Fashioned.

Excellent food with decent pairing options. Cocktail menu had few offerings, but the cocktails they do have were made well. Prices are fair for the area. Service was polite and responsive but perhaps understaffed for weeknight traffic.

Pretty solid venue, great for after-work activities for small groups. Their food is great as well! I got their chicken sandwich with mac and cheese on it, t'was amazing paired with several lychee cocktails.
