A must try if you are in the city. But be prepared this is not like European or American chocolate. The flagship is Nama that need to be cold but they are delightful. Nama is kinda like a light but very flavorful fudge. Especially the Tea and Champagne flavors. The whiskey flavor is nice if you like Scotch, not bourbon or Irish whisky but Scotch or mezcal as it has a strong smokey flavor. The staff was super helpful... View all feedback.
The chocolate was sooo good and definitely an eye opener, albeit also quite expensive. Had both the Ghana and champagne from the liquor series, preferred the champagne ones but the other one was also good. The only thing is the chocolate needed to be chilled so it’s not one that can easily be brought as souvenir back home.
I'm giving this place five stars because the execution is well done. However, these chocolates all have a kind of malted flavor which I disike. I don't know whether that is common for Japan or whether it is the signature of this place, but it is not my cup of tea. I would prefer to make my own chocolates or go to Gate Comme des Filles, which I believe has the best quality chocolates in Boston. Although the owner there is eccentric.

Amazing Japanese chocolates. Incredible taste and consistency. What's the tip for during checkout?? :
Melt-in-your-mouth chocolate, friendly staff and even a free ice pack in the bag to keep it chilled. Highly recommend the refrigerated varieties, especially the Darjeeling.
