A recent visit to the restaurant revealed a mix of experiences. One group found the food to be awful, overpriced, and lacking in selection. Another reviewer mentioned that the steaks were very expensive and the fish portion was small for the price. Despite these negatives, they mentioned that the outstanding service helped to balance out the experience. Another individual highlighted poor value for the price, lackluster food quality, and subpar service. They mentioned being neglected throughout the meal, with long waits for items like drinks and coffee. On a more positive note, one reviewer recommended trying the banana cream pie and overall enjoyed their dining experience. Another person praised the service and food quality, particularly highlighting the pork chop and sides. Additionally, a group of six had a fantastic experience with great service that accommodated their late guests. Overall, the restaurant is described as cozy with good food and service. Highlights included the grilled octopus, coffee, and desserts. A satisfied customer raved about their meal which included the Lexington brewery Barrel Aged beer, Nantucket Sea Scallops, and Frozen Margarita Pie, praising the fantastic flavors and service. Despite some mixed reviews, there are clearly some delicious menu items worth trying at this establishment.
Simply too loud for a quiet meal. Bar crowd too loud both downstairs and upstairs.
Loved my experience. My wife and I enjoyed a great night out. Our server was very friendly and attentive to our requests. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely return soon.
Kind of a rich old person restaurant. I’m fine spending $300-400 on a meal (for just me wife), but I’d prefer that the food, ambiance, and service was better. Would prefer going to a restaurant like Barcelona, Ilona, Mida, or more.
