What User doesn't like about Pabu Izakaya Boston:
I had a wonderful experience at PABU. Started with an appetizer and ended with a beef tar tar which was one of the best I’ve had. They also have some great wagu. It’s a shame they are temporarily closed as I loved to frequent here. Inside, they have a wonderful environment and the staff were very kind as well. Can’t wait until they reopen! View all feedback.
I had a wonderful experience at Pabu. It's on the pricier side, so I don't visit often. I initially planned to stick to the Dine Out Boston menu, but ended up trying an original roll and a special nigiri from the Japanese menu called katsuo. All the fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent; my server was attentive and always made sure my water was full, and the service was very prompt. I sat at the sushi bar, which allowed me to watch the chefs prepare the sushi right in front of me.

The food and cocktails were incredible! All the servers and bartenders were very friendly and attentive. I'm here enjoying happy hour too – 6 wines! Thank you, Pabu, for offering curry bowls to those impacted by the shutdown!
They pay for what they get. but wow. eating is phenomenal. the meerrote foie gras on the crispy rice cake was good stupid photo 5. the ambiente was elegant and the numerous rectangular laternen continued as motiw on the walls. service was gracious, practical and intrusive. I appreciate that they take the time to describe the dishes they deliver. plan to get back. Oh, yes, the karage huh is one. no photo because it was consumed too quickly. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Really expensive restaurant with Japanese theme. As someone who lived in Japan for a while, I can say the taste is the same 3 I had a birthday sandwich made of peanut butter and sesame seeds and matcha ice cream in the middle. It was making me cry and miss Japan as the matcha was made there three hours before I consume it and it is authentic taste. Service was outstanding my server wad Tony and def would have tipped way more if I was the one paying. I recommend to people who have a big paycheck and aren't wanting for much. Or if you are having a company dinner and there is not much cap. My nigiri was 10 each and the dessert was more. We also had some other food which we consumed before I took a picture since it looked and smelled so delicious. Total bill for four people was around 400 so if you don't have lots of money like me maybe skip this place. Otherwise, ごちそおさまでした!
