Total experience is good. Eating tasted great and had a wonderful time out on the terrace. The service was a little slow to get a server, but after we got one, everything was fine. View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Mother Anna's Boston-north End:
Food was mediocre at best. Ambience was either reminiscent of a 1990’s strip mall inside, or sitting outside on a busy-car traffic corner. Restaurant was very dirty, and we had to shoo flies throughout our meal. With all of Little Italy just past this place, do yourself a favor and keep walking. View all feedback.
I was visiting from out of town and this restaurant came highly recommended, and I can definitely see why. We tried the Eggplant Rollatini, Lobster Ravioli, and Gnocchi Julianna, all of which were exquisite. The waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5.
Nadia is an incredible server! She was not only very kind, but also extremely attentive. Our service was prompt, and the food was delicious. The eggplant rollatini was outstanding, and the cocktails were fantastic too!
The food was excellent! The chicken parmesan was fantastic. However, our waiter hurried us out, which didn’t give us much opportunity to relax and fully enjoy our time or our meals.
This was my first time eating at Mother Anna's, but it won't be my last. The waitress was very accommodating, and, because I was in a hurry but my dining mates were not, I was able to get my dinner quickly while they could enjoy a more relaxed pace. We sat outside, which was quite warm, but that's not the fault of Mother Anna's. And, the blueberry lemonade cocktails were simply tasty and refreshing. I will definitely return to Mother Anna's!
We had four meals and we all enjoyed them. Big portions and reasonable prices. Large menu. Gnocchi Juliana was great, eggplant Parm was good with lots of sauce, char-broiled chicken was very tasty with lots of garlic, and tortellini Alfredo. Salad was good also. Only complaint is that we requested a third basket of bread and were told they ran out of bread!?! Then the people that sat down next to us were given a basket of bread. If there is a limit of two, just tell us!Vegetarian options: Large menu with lots of options.
