What CeCe doesn't like about Mela Restaurant:
We’re international travelers and frequently eat Indian curry. We decided to try Mela based on the reviews but were quite disappointed. The tables are crammed and you’re just about touching the table next to you. The server did ask if we wanted to move but it wouldn’t have made a difference. Let's be realWhen it comes to ethnic food, there are authentic places and then there are bland, Americanized places.
Mediocre, expensive indian food. An entree and lassi together come out to nearly $30.
Plan a last minute business lunch after reviewing the online reviews. We were not disappointed. From the provolenta (I think that's the name) and stuffed prawn starters to the delicious fillet and the spread for the rolls, our meal was delicious. The owner was behind the bar and was very accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the area.
The steak was amazing. One of the best I've ever had. Service was a little slow, but it was worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was a pleasure
