Great and friendly and cheerful staff, on visit from United Kingdom and spent a few evenings in here. Met the doorman, name eludes me apologies upstanding gentle giant, but you would not mess with him. Terrific place great Red Sox memorabilia! View all feedback.
Without doubt the nicest food we had since being in New England. Nicer Reuben than Katz Diner and heavenly pumpkin spice bread and butter pudding Definitely recommend Great place!
This was our number one place to stop at while we were in Boston, mainly because we love the Dropkick Murphys. But we got to listen to awesome music, it was a great environment, the food was delicious, and we had an amazing waitress! (Thank you Olga, you were great! We were even able to give money to the Claddagh Fund charity with the purchase of our beers! I will absolutely travel to Boston again just to sit at one of those booths.

We went to McGreevy’s last night. We’re two working class guys in town from Nebraska to see the Dropkick Murphys. We couldn’t find a seat upstairs so we went downstairs and things really began to be cool. Little less volume but we had our own waitress/bartender named Jackie. She was excellent, made us feel at home, was efficient but not pushy. My friend had two Barroom Heroes beers that were very good and we ordered food. Thinking it was going to be typical “bar” food we were impressed. I ordered the Shepard’s Pie. It was excellent! The best thing was it was hot! My buddy had the Fish and Chips and said they were excellent as well. We also shared the Pickle Spears (appetizer) with Ranch dressing, they were hot as well as good. Dropping in at McGreevy’s on a whim was the perfect way to start off our arrival into the City of Boston. All of the wait staff were kind and Jackie with her good attitude and sheer hustle made us start our trip off in the best way possible. We will be back and sooner then later! Thank you!
We walked from Fenway to McGreevys. It’s a beautiful scenic walk I recommend taking it. When we got to the bar we were greeted by Erin and another girl (whose name I have forgotten). They were both so nice! The food was AMAZING!! We had the cheese stuffed pretzels with beer cheese dipping sauce for app, I had the Reuben and my brother had a cheeseburger. I highly recommend this pub!
