The fresh seafood and attentive service stand out for many, with some noting exceptional dishes like the stuffed lobster and halibut special. The ambiance is praised, although noise levels can be a drawback. Consistency in food quality is highlighted, but there are occasional service hiccups. Overall, Mare offers a diverse menu with standout dishes, making it a worthwhile dining destination, especially during events like Dine Out Boston.
We had one of the best eating experiences in mare. the place is very beautiful, looks up comfortably. the fire pits are a special note. our waiter pinkrio was excellent, he had the best recommended and surprised us with special dessert Limoncello’s. ricardo was also super attentive to our table and both made our visit so unforgettable. the food we had was amazing, we tried everything and shared. everything we ordered was so great. many thanks to the Mare team for such a special night.
The lobster and the black truffle tagliatelle (sp) was literally the most amazing pasta dish I had in my whole life....or that I could ever dream. every bite was like a dream. hands down, must go to the restaurant in boston. If I'm ever back in boston, I'll come here. I will tell everyone who will hear about this place. because it's so good!
Excellent eating and wine. high on the lobster ravioli and lobster tagliatelle. pinkrio was a very good waiter and the staff was very attentive.
I sat at the bar (from myself on the business). the bartender/server, adina, was fantastic! it was knowledgeable, attentive and socially. In addition to the excellent oysters, I was torn a halibut caponata special between 3 menu points. she recommended that heal. I've learned to consult a server for a long time and she was soouo right! it looked and tasted amazing! that is not exaggerated! the young sat next to me, asked me and the server what it was because it was so beautiful! the soulman on the healed and the aromen of the caponata were spot on! when they think about coming here, they stop thinking and come here for a great culinary experience!
The pasta was incredible. It was the perfect al dente, the sauce was the right consistency, and the seafood outstanding. The cocktails were amazing too. I had the risotto, prosecco, and a Nutella martini. The ambience was great as well, though a bit crowded. Tables are on top of each other. The food definitely makes it worth it, though! Will definitely come again!
